Kazuo Ishiguro's book 'Klara and the Sun', his first novel after winning the Nobel Prize, is expected to be released in March 2021. And ahead of the release of his upcoming book, the news is that 3000 Pictures has already made a deal for its movie adaptation. 'Klara and the Sun' is a thrilling feat of world-building and a heartbreaking novel of tenderness and humanity. It gives us an unexpected glimpse into the modern world through the eyes of an unforgettable narrator, and explores the fundamental question: what does it mean to love?, reads the book's blurb. According to Deadline, Elizabeth Gabler, Founder- 3000 Pictures, made the pre-emptive deal along with Sony Pictures and HarperCollins US in a joint venture. The movie will be produced by David Heyman while Ishiguro will be the executive producer. Previously, Ishiguro's novels 'The Remains of the Day' and 'Never Let Me Go' have also been adapted into movies. The author has also won a Booker Prize for his novel 'The Remains of the Day'. Meanwhile, the release date of the film based on 'Klara and the Sun' is not yet announced.
